Meet the Mom behind LaValley Creations

Hi, I’m Megan! A country music-lovin’, growth-minded, mama of three, fiercely passionate about early childhood education, and the owner of LaValley Creations, LLC. Just like you, my kids are my world and I want to do everything I can to ensure I set them up for success – lots of love, encouragement, and healthy brain activities.

I bring years of experience as an early childhood special education teacher, specialist, and administrator. I hold several credentials and a master’s degree in education. My 12 years in the public education system and nearly 18 years working with children from infancy to 5 years give me a very real perspective of children’s needs and the importance of healthy brain development.

My real-life experiences as a mom juggling work and family and my professional experience working with parents and kids make LaValley Creations your one-stop shop for all things learning and development for your 6 to 60-month-old.

But, let’s be real. Parenting is tough! Whether you are a first-time parent, a caregiver at a daycare, or have a master’s degree in early childhood development, parenting is challenging, and finding simple, trusted, and practical information for supporting your child’s learning is challenging.

LaValley Creations was created as a one-stop shop to give parents the resources they need to support their 6 to 60-month-old’s learning and development.

The education system is transforming faster than the speed of light.

With increasing frustrations in the early childcare system (lack of available and affordable daycares & preschools, staffing shortages, and school closures) families are left trying to bridge the gap from toddler to a kindergartner.

I help parents just like you learn skills and techniques to support their child’s language, fine motor, behavior, social, and readiness skills.

Because I’ve been where you are…

Unable to communicate with a child

Facing frequent tantrums and meltdowns because I don’t understand what a child needs or wants

Worried that a child may be falling behind

Don’t get me wrong, I loved being a teacher.

But there were many stressful, tearful days leaving the classroom because I didn’t have the tools I needed to successfully serve my students.

My Mission Is To Empower You To Learn Simple Tools And Strategies So That Your Day-To-Day Life Runs Smoother And You Can Give Your Child The Best Chance At School-Aged Success.

Because the only thing more powerful than getting children to talk, write, and interact positively with peers … is empowering parents like YOU to teach your children how to do it – all while helping more parents and more children all over the world.

Ready to decrease the tantrums, focus on what matters, and use everyday activities to support your child’s communication?

The 6 to 60 Communication at Home guide is your shortcut to simplified strategies, inspiring stories, and mindset shifts that will help you support your child’s language development all in the comfort of your own home.
