Let’s talk vocabulary
Vocabulary is key to communication development in the early years.
In general, babies from 6 to 24 months benefit most from the quantity of words spoken to them. Several studies suggest that the number of words spoken to children at 19 months was a significant predictor of the child’s vocabulary at 24 months.
What does that mean? The more words your child hears, the larger their vocabulary will be later on.
So, get to talking!
